5-Ingredient No-Knead Jalapeño Cheddar Bagels

Servings 6 bagels

Ingredients:  

  • 3 cups Flour
  • 3 cup greek yogurt
  • 4 tbs baking powder
  • 1 jalapeno, deseeded & diced
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg (scrambled in separate bowl)

Instructions: 

  • Preheat the oven to 400F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a bowl add flour, baking powder, greek yogurt, cheddar, and jalapeno. Mix using your hands or with a wooden spot until fully incorporated.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll each piece into a ball, then poke your finger through the middle to create the signature bagel shape. They don’t need to be perfect, just get that hole in the middle and you’re good to go!
  • Using a pastry brush or a piece of paper towel, brush each bagel with the egg.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a deep golden brown.
