Oven-baked Chickpeas with Smoked Paprika. Great way to add texture and crunch to any salad

Ingredients:  

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 425. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Next up lay the chickpeas out on a couple pieces of paper towel and dry them off as much as possible. Cover a sheet tray with tin foil and place the chickpeas on the tray. Sprinkle the chickpeas with salt and just a little bit of oil. Place in the oven for 35 minutes. Check on the chickpeas every ten minutes and give the pan a shake to avoid sticking.
  • After 35 minutes, remove chickpeas from oven and sprinkle on the smoked paprika. Place back into the oven for an additional 10 minutes. Remove and let cool. Boom - they're done! Enjoy!
