Heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté for 10 minutes until soft and fragrant. Add sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
Stir in smoked paprika and flour; cook for 1 minute.
Gradually add broth and water. Stir in potatoes and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10–15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Add kale and beans; simmer for 5–10 minutes.
Stir in cream, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Adjust seasoning and serve warm.
