Viral Dumpling Salad

Ingredients:  

Dressing

  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tbs fish sauce
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 Lime, juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 thai chilli, sliced (optional)

Salad Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen dumplings (20-30)
  • 1 1/2 cups Red Cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

Instructions: 

  • In a large bowl mix together olive oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and chilli.
  • Prep your veggies and toss them into the same bowl as the dressing. In go cabbage, carrots, green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds.
  • Place a large pan over medium high heat and add in 1 tbs of olive oil. Place the frozen dumplings into the pan and allow to fry for 2 minutes. Add in 2-3 tablesspoons of water and cover the pan with a lid. Allow the dumplings to steam cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Remove dumplings from pan and toss in the salad bowl. Toss everything together and enjoy! How fun is that one?!
