No Bake Energy Balls
I have been kicking my running into high gear and these No Bake Energy Balls are the perfect pre run snack. Packed with energy, they taste delicious, and are super easy to make. I like to whip up a batch of these on a Sunday afternoon to keep my runs fuelled throughout the week.
What are the best snacks for runners?
This answer can vary very much from runner to runner, but generally the best snacks for runners are something that is calorie dense and full of healthy carbohydrates, fats, and protein. These No Bake Energy balls are perfect as they are made with oats, cashews, sun flour seeds, unsweetened coconut, dried cranberries, white chocolate chips, natural peanut butter, honey, and salt. This is the perfect light, grab-and-go, kind of snack that wont bog you down and will give you that energy push you need out there on the road or trail.
How do you make No Bake Energy Balls?
Making these No Bake Energy Balls is super simple and requires basically zero equipment. All you need to do is pour all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon. Next step I suggest you lightly wet your hands to avoid sticking, and form golf ball sized balls of the granola in your hands. That’s it. Could not be easier! I generally keep these No Bake Energy Balls in an air tight container in the fridge. They last for 7-10 days.
