Curried yogurt salad dressing
I love having different salad dressings in my fridge to help make eating vegetables more interesting and in greater importance, more delicious. This Curried yogurt salad dressing is really easy to whip together and super addicting!
This dressing is really versatile. It’s great as a salad dressing (I highly recommend using it with my Crunchy Curry Chop Salad recipe) or just as a dip for roasted vegetables!
Let’s Breakdown the Ingredients!
Packed with tons of sweet and spicy flavours, this curried yogurt dressing balances each other out!
Greek yogurt and mayo are the base of this dressing. The Greek yogurt is thicker and has a tangy flavour. Compared to other yogurts, it is packed with more protein and less sugar. Similar to Greek yogurt, mayo does have a slight tang, but it has a neutral flavour.
I’ve added curry powder and black pepper to deepen the earthy flavour of the recipe to liven up this dressing. And to compliment the deep spices of the curry powder, I’ve added cilantro, which has a bright lemon flavour and garlic, which produces a warm touch to the dressing.
With the addition of sriracha and maple syrup, it includes a balancing sweet and spicy taste to the deep flavours in this recipe.
