This viral cottage cheese flatbread has taken the internet by storm and I just had to give it a try. They make this flat bread with only two ingredients and some seasoning. It’s a great recipe for adding extra protein to your meal when you want a wrap.

How to make the viral cottage cheese flatbread?

Making this cottage cheese flatbread is super simple to do. You need a blender, 1 cup of cottage cheese, and 2 eggs.

Drop the cottage cheese and eggs into the blender and then blend until smooth. You can pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with sprayed parchment paper from here.

Bake at 350F for 40 minutes, remove from the oven and all it to fully cool. Allowing the flatbread to cool is a crucial piece. Do not skip!

Lois says:

I really liked this! The only thing that I would suggest is to pay close attention to the oven time. I put my timer on for 40 minutes, and about 1/4 of the bread was black, crisp and inedible. But the rest was really good! I’ll definitely do this again, and can’t wait to try it as a pizza crust.

Andy Hay says:

Hi Lois! Yes, ovens can vary a lot—checking a bit earlier is a good idea. Love the pizza crust plan!

Lisa Jeambey says:

I am going to try this, but can you use liquid eggs instead of the real thing? Just curious.

Andy Hay says:

Hi Lisa, liquid eggs will work fine—just use the equivalent of 2 whole eggs. Hope that helps!

So Ive been simply going around the net checking out cottage cheese recipes since seeing them so much on YouTube and Facebook Reels. I ran across yours during a Google search ‘cottage cheese flatbread’ where yours popped up as the first item – good for you!

Its a simple recipe and I admit my first attempt was more like cottage cheese potato chip bread since I failed to watch the time. However, my second attempt was spot on, using it for spinach and herb pizza.

Perfect for me and my two boys. Thanks!

Anna says:

The texture was good, cooked a little longer then the 40 mins, but way to much salt, will try again without the listed amount.

Andy Hay says:

sorry to hear it was too salty, Anna. Glad you liked the texture! Cutting back the salt next time should make it perfect for you.
